Kirsty graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Nutrition and Health from Roehampton University in London, and with a Diploma in Sports Nutrition through the International Olympic Committee (IOC).  Kirsty is an Accredited Nutritionist with the Singapore Nutrition and Dietetics Association (SNDA), a member of the SNDA Sports Interest Group and a member of Professionals in Nutrition for Exercise and Sport (PINES).  Kirsty has also studied Food Security through Ryerson University, Toronto and recently qualified as a Nordic Walking instructor.  

A runner herself, Kirsty uses this as a way of exploring new environments and keeping fit at the same time.  Running highlights over the last few years include the Mount Rinjani ultra-marathon in Lombok; the 25km North Face run in Thailand; the Polar Marathon in Greenland’s arctic circle; and the 25km Devil’s Ridge run in the Gobi desert.  The 25km North Face runs are a regular in her annual calendar.

Kirsty lives with her husband, three children and two cats in Singapore.
